is it possible to sync aperture directory with smugmug

i would rather maintain my albums in Apple Aperture software. would like to have the option of synchronizing those albums with aperture. and if sync is complicated, then ideally a one way update from aperture to smugm would be powerful.
kind of like how me.com galleries are synced with Aperture albums.
anybody else felt the need? done it before?
