Watermark question

I use Smugmug's watermarking for my galleries, which I think is a great tool!

But, is it basically commonplace for pros to add their personal logo/watermark on the photos before posting them online? The photo, when ordered for printing, will then be printed with the watermark, correct?

Which, if that's the case, I don't need the Smugmug watermarking, right?

I apologize for the confusing questions, but as you can see, I'M confused!

It's your choice.

If you want the watermark on the print, then you need to apply it before you upload your photos to your smugmug account.

If you want the watermark on the display copies but not on prints then you should use SmugMug's watermarking feature.
