Ran back up to Sequoia NP on Saturday for a drive, came across a few bears and this mother and cub. It was amazing as soon as they saw my camera they headed for the shdows. They hung around for about 20 minutes then walked over the hill. I caught up with them a few hours later but never got the shot I wanted of the cub.. Oh well, guess I have to go back again :dunno .. It's a tough life :D

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

You got the light on them, SAW them (sometimes I have to tell myself that), and got a fantastic RTH!

We, on the other hand, we have gone from heavy rain to drizzle.
I mean days of it, the poor dogs.

Fantastic, I am impressed by the bears, but more impressed by the clarity and exposure on the RTH since that is my waterloo......... never seen a wild bear.
but see hawks, egrets, all the herons, etc, degrees of clarity, the osprey.....

So, that is one really good bird shot, Ed.

Nice bears, too. Better wild baby bear than I expect to shoot (if I were to say "never" one would saunter on into my cul de sac)

Good luck, when do you go back?
