I thought this turned out, Was taken Hand Held with my 5D, and my 100mm Marco. Even had my two year being held on my left arm. Settings were F10 1/400 Shutter, and ISO 800.

I cropped in, C&C please, as I need it. As well as hand held tips.

Good capture -especially in the circumstances :)

Crop looks a bit tight to me though.

For hand held shooting i normally try to brace/hold /lean on anything handy (perhaps your daughter) but often use a long pole- I have a collapsable tent pole for expeditions. Just grip in left hand with a bit of camera. Using full flash (ie camera in M mode ISO100,F11. 1/200th) obviously helps freeze motion but you may not want or be allowed to use flash.
