My most patient model... she's visibly upset... or blinded :wink

FL-36R, playing with the off-camera capabilities. This is going to be a lot of fun.

Sweet, congrats! I've been trying to decide between the SB-400 and SB-600 myself.

Thanks for referring me to this forum, btw. Great stuff!

Cory, glad to see you make it over here. This site is just as big of a time-waster as svrider, but with a greater learning experience. Head on over the challenges forum if you really want to seem like a social defunct to all your real-life peers: http://www.dgrin.com/forumdisplay.php?f=7

I went with the smaller flash because it was cheaper and I figured it'd really put me in a situation to learn more about lighting.

Nice shot Joe. You're lucky she still sits for you. Mine just walks away now whenever she sees me pulling out my gear...one day I'll be able to post a picture. You know, when she's sleeping...

That shot came out really nice! It doesn't even look like you used a flash -- the lighting looks natural. At least to me it does.

And yes, your model is very patient. :D

Thanks! She sits still sometimes, but when she doesn't, she likes to smudge up my lenses with her wet nose.

    Thanks!

I would call it temporary patience mwink.gif.

Beginner's luck on it looking natural :D
