My efforts to shoot hay bales this year was ruined when they were all wrapped in white plastic. Giant marshmallows!

I prefer to find a slightly higher vantage point so there isn't as much overlap of the hay bales. On this shot, I may have moved to left a little so the big FG hay bale didn't overlap with the one in front of it. But hay, I wasn't there and you man not have had much room to move (the Hay pun, albeit bad, was intentional )

Thanks for your comments. To tell the truth I did not consider either when I took the picture. I do agree that it may have been better. There were new bales out this afternoon when I drove by. If I get to take another before they are gathered I will try to remember your suggestions.
