that was Frankie's first thought when I aimed the camera at him.
D700, SB900, UltimateLightBox (diffused flash bounced off ceiling in TTLBL mode)

After awhile he just ignored me! :D

C&C appreciated (I'm still trying to get used to this "lighting" thing)

I paticularly like the second shot....but both are good. I think one of the secrets of a good flash shot is for those looking at the picture to not know that flash was used. You did very well on that point.

    Take care of yourself,

    Tom
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Yeah, with cats and flashes you only get a couple of tries before you lose a limb or they run off.

One sort of expected the eyes to have fallen out for the second shot....:D

Didn't mean they weren't.... I meant that the cat's eyes were so wide open in the first, like they were ready to pop out of his skull.... Lighting was great in both.

    Howdy Jack,

    Poor Frankie:D:D:D

Really sharp and crisp details in both shots, and really well done.

Looks like the new flash and diffuser are producing some stunning shots, much to the chagrin of Barney and Frankie
    Take care,
