Why was this moved to where it was moved to?

I clicked on the post made by Jeroen in Journeys titled “Two hours through my own city by bike” (Amsterdam) and found it moved in a way that was VERY different than I expected. Even though I knew it had been moved I expected it to STAY an individual post. What I found was that it is now the 9th post in a thread in Location, Location, Location titled LOCATION: Europe at http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=82757. Why did this not stay an individual post? That is the one I was looking to see NOT all the places the preceded it.
