A great series of what the MP-65 lens is capable of. Such a difficult lens to use, my hat goes off to you
I read the thread but didn't see if you said if any were focus stacked. I am assuming they are as the DOF with the MP-65 is paper thin. If so, what program do you use to stack with? I have been using the one that comes with PS. CS4 and seems to do an "okay" job. But I am open to other suggestion and perhaps why they may be better?

ralph - 1st 3 frames focus stacked by hand 2 frames each
sawfly 3 frames. all done by hand using layers and masks in ps.

Nope - many butterflies (and other insects) have hairy eyes. (see #6 as well)
