Should use brackets [ ... ] instead of parentheses ( .... ) for tags. The links are not working either because the "(/img)" became part of the link. If you click on the links then go to the url bar and delete the "(/img)" at the end, you can see the pics fine.
I like the setting in #1, but would maybe like the shot better if the light played out a bit more gradually from her face. It seems to abruptly stop at the base of her neck.....(snoot?). The dappling in the BG is super nice....and the pose "fits"......yet I could do without the brightly colored bracelet.
Oddly...I LIKE the light...concentrated...as it were in the second photo. Very nice.
I was plaiying around with a new reflector on the first one. I got a 4x8 sheet of foil covered insulation board from 84 Lumber. Cut it in half and hinged it. That silver side really blasts but the light reflects out wierd and thus the highlight on just the face. Sort of liked it as soon as I saw it. The other side is a dull silver and reflects the light more evenly.
The only thing for me are personal asthetics. I love the first one, but the spot-lighting didn't work for me. It is nicely done, and love the old truck as the base. Though, each time I scroll past it, I do like a bit more. Perhaps by the end of comments on this thread it will be my favorite...
The shadowing effect on 6 is cool, but I didn't really like it. This one hasn't grown on me. Given how perfectly even the shadowing is, and it is done very well, I know this was your goal. Was this done with a big softbox cranked up a bit, or some other approach?

The links are dead as well....be sure you have enabled "external links" in your gallery.

2 - This is sweet. Would have liked a bit more light on right side of the frame, but this works nice as it is.
3 - Not working for me - but that's just me
4 - I like this but I get "little girl in dress up shoes" thing - she looks soooo tiny compared to the instrument.
5 - Nice - crop it a little tighter
6 - Not liking the shadow at all
7 - This is probably my favorite of the set. Shows some serious attitude and I'm betting she likes that. I'm also betting that mom doesn't
