The sun was shining, blue skies, what a difference good light makes:

This is the view from a car park overlooking the town.

Very nice - blue sky and blue water. I like the curve of the beach in the first one. The composition of the last doesn't do much for me though.

Thanks for taking the time to advise me Phil, I appreciate it. I cropped the 2nd and 3rd photos.

The second photo had way too much sharpening in it when I looked at it again so everything is toned down second time around.

You're not wrong. Superb clarity & sharpness.

I like the crop of harbour shot, although it's a bit soft.

Nice gallery too, the trials bike shots are really impressive.

    Seamus,

Just beautiful. My wife and I went to Ireland last year for our honeymoon and your pictures remind me of the beautiful scenery and make me anxious to return. Thanks for sharing and would love to see more.

Thanks Adrian, I didn't bring the tripod because I was on the GS. I will have to get a bigger top box or a smaller tripodheadscratch.gif . I do intend to reshoot these with a tripod, and pay more attentioin to composition.

The trials bike shots were taken at the bike show here last February. The riders were lunaticsrolleyes1.gif .

    Shay.

Hi Gil, I'm glad you liked the pics and that you enjoyed your honeymoon here. The best gallery of pics from Ireland I have seen on Dgrin is Nir's:
