Take at Thunderhill raceway near Willows,CA.
Amateur drift event, put on by a friend.
Mostly mid 80s Corollas and 240SX, but Calvan Wan dropped in late in the day with his Pro RX7.
good event, not to hot, and good action.

Hi These are great shots. I have recently attended a couple of stage rallies in the forests south west Scotland. I was using a 40D with a 17-55 2.8 and a 70-200 F4 what mode did you shoot these in and at what shutter speeds, aperture and ISO You have guessed I am learning.
    Regards
    Bob

    >>what mode did you shoot these in and at what shutter speeds.

When shooting motorsports I go with shutter priority, and between 1/160 and 1/125 of a second to start and adjust from there.

    >>aperture and ISO

I let the camera take care of the Aperture and for the ISO, around 100 but you can adjust that depending on lighting and what effect you want.
