Need some Blog Lovin'

My blog could really need some "comment luv". :lust

I have lots of posts that have zero comments. A forum I used to belong to had a "Pay it forward" project. If you leave me comments, I'll leave comments for you.

The idea is that some people are just afraid of being the first to comment, so if they see other comments, then they may be more willing to leave comments of their own.

    Also.... I suspect my spam filter (on WordPress) may be a little to agressive and is filtering out good comments. If you leave a comment, please reply here so that I know you commented.

    Neal, your photos are really nice, but other than commenting "Nice Photo" after each entry, what is there to say?
    If you are blogging to share photos, then your blog is fine.
    If you are blogging in order to gather comments, then you have to give your viewers something to comment on!!
    Maybe you could write about the difficulty in getting the photo, the post processing, what the photo means to you, any funny, adventurous, or embarassing stories about getting the photo.
    In order to get people to comment, you have to engage them! Give them something to think about, and to comment upon.
    Now there's a long and rambling comment for ya!

    Okay, being serious, you have a very good point and thank you for the feedback. I wasn't looking for "Nice photo". Someone that visited did write about how it reminds her of her visit with family to Michigan.

    But, you are correct, I do need to be more engaging. I am going to work on a posting to explain how I did the HDR photo. I kept my post short and sweet because I was probably in a rush to get it posted. :D

    Hey Neil...I commented on your blog on the night shots. You have some good shots in there. My blog doesnt get any lovin either but I just started it not too long ago. I use my blog for explaining some of the processes I go to do some of my composits. Check it out if you like...the link is in my signature.
