Consistent upload issue

I am using LR Plugin for Smugmug by Jeffrey Friedl.
I thought it was the plugin's problem, but according to Jeff, it is a smugmug issue, so I thought I would post here.
It takes a long time to upload... and when (and if) it finally manages to upload, I end up with multiple copies of the same photo.
If you look at the comment here:

This has been going on for a week now and it's very frustrating indeed.
Is this indeed a smugmug issue? if so, can someone please see it through?

I can't replicate with my LR2 and latest plugin. Are you at the lastest version?

Yes I am! Been having this issue for about a week now. Always upgrade the plugin whenever there is an update available.

It seems to only happen to larger files. Not a scientific finding, but anything over 6MB or 8MB has a greater chance of 'looping', resulting in multiple copies.

Would you mind running a line quality test for us? You go here:
    http://www.dslreports.com/linequality
Sign up and run the test. Registration there is free. After you run the test, copy the link to the results for us. That will let us know if there is an issue with the line preventing photos from arriving to our servers. Post the link to the results when you get them.

Please take note that it seems like I am not the only one with this problem as seen on the comments on the plugin's homepage.

See the 100% packet loss? I'll ping Jeffrey, but I don't know how his plugin handles this.

I can only say that we built the SmugMug Java uploader to be really, really robust. I can't say how Jeffrey's plugin was built :(

Do the two apps upload to the same server?
