Using "Replace Photo" tool when upgrading to Pro Account?

Hi all,

I currently have a Power User account, where right now my images are not Hi-Res and were watermarked before I uploaded them.

I plan on eventually upgrading to "Pro" in a few months now (never thought I would) and realize I may have to re-upload images to be hi-res versions.

Question:

Do I use the "Replace Photo" tool to replace the low-res watermarked images I have up now, with Hi-Res non-watermarked versions so I can take advantage of the Pro features ans still keep captions/keywords, comments, etc?

Thanks in advance,

Paula

And keep in mind that SM's watermarking tool is great so if you want to just leave your images un-watermarked, SM will handle the watermarking on all the images except the original. thumb.gif

Yeah, besides being able to keep the existing captions, keywords and comments, the watermarking was the other factor. This feature will help reduce one batch processing step in my workflow when the time comes. wings.gif

And to make things even more efficient, I believe the new uploader will allow you to set to 'replace photos' mode as long as the filenames are the same. This way, all you'll have to do is re-upload the originals, and be sure your gallery is set to watermark and it will do everything in one step. clap.gif

SM has made me 10x more efficent at processing photos and getting them online. Before SM, I could only process about 1000 photos a weekend. Now, I can do well over 2000, and with much better looking galleries, watermarking, sharable links, and theft protection. bowdown.gif
