This one is a little tougher than I thought it would be.
Caught this one on the way home from work. The sky was quite nice
Your thoughts will be appreciated.

    Love it..!!!

That is clever as all get out. thumb.gif

open sky, closed gate and with a no trespassing sign that tells the viewer to come no further.. perfect..clap.gif

    Now for the nits. :D

Can you bring some shadow detail back into the sky, just a tiny bit of blowout beginning to form on the clouds.. perhaps apply a blend layer set to multiply and maybe an opacity setting on that layer to around 25 to 30%..
I would then go to shadows and highlights and work the midtone contrast and highlights slider while looking at the cloud detail.. That should work because the blow out is not that bad at all..

That little piece of brush on the upper right hand side above that second gate is distracting, I would crop it out.

Also, that piece of brush on the left side of the gate between the wires toward the ground.. I can't tell if it is brush or if it is a tree in the distance.. the perspective may be throwing me off.. but I would clone it out too. It just keeps tugging at my eyes..

You nailed the composition letting the "open" sky dominate just enough..

    Nice Work Chris:ivar

This is a great shot Chris, I can't really think of anything more than what Kat suggested...she's got a great eye for the fine details that often go missed! Great take on the themethumb.gif

Thanks for the input, was not sure of the worthiness of the shot so it was pretty rough. Here are some of the suggested tweaks. That was the top of a tree in the barbed wire.

This is really, really amazing! clap.gif Love the perspective here.

My only tiny suggestion would be to clone out the green thing (rope, hose?) on the lower left hand corner.

I think this is my favorite shot so far of this round!!thumb.gif

Fellow Chris good call I did not see that either. It will be dealt with. Advantage of many eyes.
