Crazy Month of August weddings....

So we had 4 weddings in 15 days this month. Crazy stuff,
The first two were 105 degrees, then one at 102. Finally he heat wave broke and the last one we did was only 78 YEAH!!
We had a great bride and wedding party and I loved the venue for photography. It was an giant old historic house built in the 1800's. Lots of shade and a great bunch of people.
I was very happy with the way the pictures turned out.
Now two weeks off and 4 more weddings in September.....

What a beautiful location for a wedding. Even some of the 80's looking wallpaper wasn't that bad!! What a joy to photograph a wedding at such a wonderful location!

I love the pictures of the bride on the stairs!

I had to laugh at the dog with the suit on, I'm glad it wasn't me in the front row with your lens pointed up my skirt!

Yeah I noticed that, it was marginal needing a fix. She was a very fun lady so will probably get a chuckle out of it.

Lovely set! The ones in the mirror are lots of fun (I love mirrors) and I think my favorite is the one of the couple walking out through the archway with all the gorgeous green surrounding them.

Yes it is one of my new favorites. Already thinking about what I would do different if I get to shoot it again.

Great job as always Zoomer! Great location... but.... are there more? There weren't many with the bride and groom together? No like formal portrait for the wall? Maybe they didn't want any....just wondering....

Nope no formal together shot for the wall. When the couple doesn't want to see each other before the wedding they always run short on time for formal posed pictures. They would rather chat and dance and have fun than go take more formal pictures.
Yeah there are a lot more pictures...I think she is getting about 850. There are a lot of the two of them together, just not the formal posed shots.
I see a real trend that the couple wants more shots of the them and everyone having fun and less formal posed shots....those are left mainly to getting the family shots...as quickly and painlessly as possible.
It is almost never the posed shots that go in the book or get prints ordered, at least that has been my experience so I don't push to get them anymore.

This comment really surprises me... Posed shots of the B & G are the ones of mine that they aaalways buy. But we always go fun and not so much formal. I actually put it in my contract that I get 1/2 hour alone with them at some point. Interesting.

I probably said it wrong.
They love the posed fun shots, but not the formal stuffy posed shots.

Aaaah, good! I was wondering what was crossing in my brain. Especially since you do so well with your posed stuff.
