Was it "Air Force One" or was it ... well whatever the normal call sign is. Air Force One only becomes, Air Force One when the president is on board. Didja know that? lil food for the mind, lol.

You mean SAM 28000? I have a feeling it was really Air Force One considering POTUS and the First Family were recently visiting the Grand Canyon.

Was truly Air Force One as the family was returning from a day at the Grand Canyon.
I had a feeling someone was watching but couldn't find anyone
I've photographed AF1 several times at JFK and while I never saw any security in the area I was at, I'm sure someone somewhere was keeping an eye on me.
I wish that I could have been closer so that I could have gotten a better picture and been able to read the #'s on the tail. This plane was sitting at Fairchild AFB in Spokane, WA, for a couple of days last week. They said that it was there for routine maintenance, but I find it very coincidental that the President was just one state away and this plane disappeared the day he left Montana.
This picture is really pretty bad as it was getting dark, I was a long ways away and it was handheld, but here is the plane sitting at Fairchild AFB.
