Good Old Getty Villa, near Malibu CA

Just the group (lashooters) going out for a nice Sunday Shoot. I was using the nifty fifty (Canon 50mm f1.8) that I hardy use to mess around with shallow dof for the day.

Getty Villa is basically a seaside museum that is built like a Roman Villa and houses ancient Greek and Roman artworks. The Villa attracts as much if not more attention than the artwork there. Just my shots from Sunday. Sorry if they seem random but the entire gallery here will make more sense.

Love it, love it, love it! Nice work with the shallow DOF, particularly on #4. I really like the concept on #2, although I find the people just behind her a bit distracting.

Great set of photographs. Thanks for sharing. Keep the "nifty fifty" close at hand!

Thank you. I hardly use the 50mm b/c I don't like the normal field of view but it's also fun to mess around with lenses you don't use much.

Another beautiful series I happened to miss...I'm sure glad I'm looking through the pages, as this is a fantastic series, Tom. clap.gif I particularly like the composition and light on the 2nd image. I love the creative possibilities the 50mm allows.
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap but memories are priceless.
