Grasshopper fleeing from photographer

This photo has some problems, but it's amusing. This guy--I don't know what kind of grasshopper it is, but a relatively small one--was fleeing from me in my yard. Every time I got close, crawling on my belly, he hopped. I think he was watching me approach while hanging on to the grass. So, I ended up with a lot of cropping and no time to try alternatives.
