checkAccessToken API (for OAuth)

I'm trying to use the smugmug.auth.checkAccessToken API to verify if an access token is still good, however, I keep getting back error "code 17, invalid method".

Is this API the right one for checking the status of a token?

    yes, that is the correct method for checking OAuth tokens, please PM me the request url.
