Whew, that durn lens (Canon 70-200 f/2.8) got heavy after 1500 shots! I covered the Fresh., JV and Varsity matches at our local high school. Needless to say, I had a lot of thinning out to do.

Just a thought - why do the players always seem to know where the camera is and turn their backs? :scratch

I did get a few good ones. Here is a sampling from the JV match.

    I like #3.
Perhaps it would be better with a tighter crop, removing the bottom part and the arm to the right?

1500 Shots! Wow! And I thought I got carried away. I agree with you on the backs. They move fast and you either get their backs or some other player's back (like Photo #1). But the kids don't seem to mind. Great series. Our girls season hasn't started yet. School starts next Monday so they should get going soon.

Nice action series. I like the first shot the best.
