Whoa, that's some crazy light at sunset! I like the silhouetted foreground and the reflection in the ripples, obviously the light/color/clouds are great.

Sunsets like this are fairly common at this location. I've spend dozens of nights here over the last 15 years, and you usually have better than a 70% chance of a spectacular sunset each night.
If only I could live there, I "might" make a half-way decent landscape photographer
Beautiful shots Randy I would lower the sat a tad (jmho)
Hey Dan,
I will say that the evening scene looked this vibrant in person. That clean clear mountain air allows vibrant colors to come blazing through. I did bump the saturation a bit on the sunrise shot.
These are two great shots. The second is dramatic and striking. I personally prefer the first due to the subtleties of the coloring and the serenity it conveys. And is that a ripple from a fish jumping in the lake?

Yeah,
It seems natural to me that the sunrise shot is calm, letting you wake-up gently. The sunset just screams that it doesn't want to go away quietly...
Oh yes, we caught lots of rainbow trout (nothing personal rainbow) in this pothole

Thanks Awais,
Looks like nature was using a big orange paint brush.

Lots of angles happening here. I leveled the image with the far shore line.
I appreciate your input

Thanks Ben,
I'd have to look at the exif, but I think these shots were the same day.
It's nice enough to have drawn me back for the last 15 years
I appreciate your kind words
Eia,
Thanks for looking and the kind words.

That sunset is UNREAL. Wicked colors. I get Lake Superior sunsets up front and personal each night....but man do I like this one.
I'm picturing a camp-fire, my guitar and some friends.

I don't have a camp-fire going, but I do have a guitar & I'm sharing these images with friends ~ Close enough
Thanks for your kind words...
