    This is a use of B&W that makes a lot of sense to me. Often I think B&W is misused.

    Thanks Rutt; I have NO confidence with black and white. This shot told me to make it b/w though...the bars are symbolic...I hope it's not too cheesy...

    i think the shot could be made even more dramatic by trying the

    tri-x pan treatment

    an my reasoning is that it is a soft or oof shot, so capitalize on that and get that grainy, clumpy, cool pushed-film look to it!
