Favorite - Unfavorite?

I've got a client who is using his Category Gallery RSS feed to stream photos to an external site. Since the only feed available for a category with subcategories is favorite photos, he'll have to manage the photos that appear in this feed by choosing favorites... mind you, these are product photos for a business site, not dramatic creative or modeling shots that would likely appear in the favorites of the day --- ever... So how does he reset the favorite count to zero. That is, how does he un-favorite a photo? And deleting it and re-adding it isn't an effective option... there must be some way to do this, but I'm befuddled trying to find out how...

Can someone enlighten me?

I think it would be easier to use a keyword feed instead of a popular feed. Then to add a photo to the feed, assign it the keyword and it will show up in the feed. To remove it from the feed, remove the keyword. Totally under your control. Built exactly for this kind of use.
