Last week I visited a friend's house. They breed Havanese puppies. These are special little doggies.

Cute pups. I like 2&3 best of the series. They look happy and puppy-ish.
#1 is sweet, but he/she doesn't stand out enough IMO.

    Cute
Cute puppies. Yes, the white shirt isn't a good background but....

They have great personalities and long hair. You can keep them cut short.
    7-10 lbs.

I want one....they're on my list of breeds to consider when it's time for another one.

Thanks, everyone. Yeah, I know, if my wife would only cooperate and wear blouses that serve as proper backgrounds for my photography! headscratch.gif

You can see some full grown Havanese dogs at the breeders website.

Really very nice images of some cute little pups. I never much cared for little dogs, having had ST. Bernard, GSP, Labs, and a coon hound. That is until my wife decided to adopt a two Chihuahuas, one long hair and one short hair. They sure are cuddly little critters. Rocky, the short hair is curled up in my lap right now. :D

Thanks for the comment, Jack. I never had much use for toy dogs either. I grew up with beagles and labs, and we had two coon hounds when we were first married. Our oldest daughter had bad allergies, so we weren't able to have a dog for about 20 years. When she left home we decided to get one. I told me wife that I was fine with any dog that I was not able to drop kick. So what did we get? A Coton de Tulear, eminently dropkickable. But as you can tell from my thousands of images of Spencer, I love the little dude!
