Why is 'hide owner' not working on a new gallery I made?

I have a gallery of school marching band photos that have password protected and would like to share with other parents. I also checked the 'hide owner' box and saved....but my site name is still showing up in the address.

Any ideas what I did wrong...?

I have successfully done this in the past...so I am puzzled what I am now doing wrong:scratch

    Not much we can tell without at least having a link to the gallery.

    hmmmn...well, I don't really want to share my whole site with everyone (here, on the world wide web)...I don't password protect my family galleries...so that my family can easily get to the photos...but 'school' galleries I share with other families, but don't want to give them access to all my other personal family photos.

    I've done this before and the gallery show up like www.smugmug.blahblahblah...which is what I want.

    But the band gallery that I have hidden owner is STILL showing up:
    MYsitename.smugmug.blhablahblah.com

    replace Mysitename with www... that should do it
