I woke up this morning to strange bird noise so when I went outside to water the plants I looked up in the tree and there were 4 wild parrots squawking at the black birds in another tree. I ran inside to get my camera just in time to catch this photo. c&c welcome.

    Nice catch.thumb.gif

Try a tight crop on the bird in focus, reduce highlights and brighten shadows. Just my thoughts.:D

Yes, muchthumb.gif , and there is more you can do Courtney by playing with your sharpening tool and some levels or curves adjustment. I'd like to see his head a tad sharper with a little more pop/vibrancy/contrast.

The second ones are much better, well done. They look like red crowned parrots. We have these in south Texas if this is indeed a red crowned parrot.

D/FW area in North Texas, but I travel down to the Valley quite often. My aunt-in-law is the president of UT-Brownsville. Plus there are several ranches that I love to visit in the area. Are you from the Valley?
