Here's a shot that I took a couple of weeks ago just quickly looking up...had black spots in my vision for a while after looking into the sun. C&C welcome.

rolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gif Thank Randy. yeah these northerners are a bit confused sometimes lol. I was finding different architectural items to shoot for a contest I'm in and I thought it was pretty cool how the sun was centered and you could see the buildings through the top.

I didn't mention it before, but great exposure on a nightmare lighting situation thumb.gif

This is a really interesting photo. I'm not surprised the scene caught your eye. It's very well executed too. Randy is right, getting the exposure correct is a situation like this is tricky at best. Nicely seen and captured.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Outstanding capture under very difficult lighting conditions Randy. Love the composition and the view thru the circle/oval. clap.gifclap.gif

Thanks Jack/Tom. It caught my eye the instant I walked under and then it was a matter of looking into the sun long enough to compose and shoot it lol. Im sure people were looking at me like what in the hell is he doing..."didn' his momma ever tell him not to look directly into the sun....especially with what amounts to a magnifying glass on his eye" headscratch.gifrolleyes1.gif

Well done, very interesting composition. I think it would do very well in
a competition. Took some photos Monday along this vein at the Portland Zoo.
Haven't looked at them yet. I'd be pleased if they come out as well as yours.

:D Seems mine didn't make the grade. Not even close. Dang it. rolleyes1.gif
    Another time maybe.

I love the elements in your effort. So very well done and completely
interesting. Find myself wondering if you will do further PP to enhance.
This take seems right out of the camera with little push for color etc.
Am I getting that wrong? Michael

That's correct Michael. There was a very slight hue/saturation adjustment in the blues to bring the sky out and that was about it.
