Hi All. Im new to this so please bear with me :D . I am looking to purchase the above camera for many different reasons.

- Family pictures
- Boxer pictures
- Hockey (NHL and Duffers) pictures
- Leisure fun pictures

I used to belong to a photography club in junior high but that was some time ago and it was film. Ive some experience with digital cameras but mostly cheaper ones. I have bene looking at cameras for about a month now and have really narrowed it down to this one above. Is there anyone on the board that has used it comment on it? Can anyone recommend something similar to check out? Thanks for taking the time.

Kodak & canon have similar cameras out ie 10x lens's but that fuji is getting very cheap due to the s7000 being out

    Go to

& read ...read...read. All answers are here. Use the colomn on the top left & select the camears & read owners reviews.

well I ended up getting this camera. What really sold me on it is the 10X optical zoom with the ability to add a longer lens. It is also a webcam ,memo taking device and a video cam (60 seconds 10MB of space per mini-movie) and takes great pics at night and action shots. I was able to get it for $549 (cdn) and it included rechargable batteries and a ROOTS carrying case ($75 value free) at London Drugs.
