Beautiful shot, Mahesh. Great colors in the sky and great light overall.

I noticed that the foreground rocks have about the same luminance as the mountains in the back. I wonder if darkening (or lightening) the foreground slightly and adding a little contrast might give it a little more depth.

    Another gorgeous image thumb.gif

I hope you fellas truly appreciate living in/near such beauty. Somehow, shooting flat ugly Texas terrain just doesn't compare rolleyes1.gif

Thanks for posting your beautiful shots.

Thanks, Tom! I'll do as you suggested and see how the change grabs me. You may be correct about lightening or darkening the FG. thumb.gif

Very nice! You're definitely putting that new camera/lens to good use. Throw a little more snow on the mountain and it would be perfect! :D

The first thing to appear in my browser was the tips of the mountains.

Then the top of the tree.

    Then the whole image.

    I was blown away !!!!!

    Fantastic composition and elements.clap.gif

Thanks, Shawn! It was a great morning up there. I'm happy you could enjoy it through my picture. :D
