Here's Brielle. She showed up at 9:00 AM in 92 degree heat and gave me a great shoot and a terrific time. Outdoor, natural light with just an off camera fill light.

I'll ask the same question I did on your other thread you posted. Why are all these so soft?

Taking a look at just 8612 and 8625, it appears focus is falling just a little in front of her eyes. If the camera is suffering from a touch of front-focus, that could/would explain the OOF effect.

There's definitely a focusing issue with these. There are some good ones in your gallery. You should verify that the camera and lens are not front or back focus. What lens are you using for these?

Thank you both so much for going to the galleries and the advice. I will definitely get it looked at for the front focus issue.

Almost all of these were shot with the 24-105 f4L IS. The last one was with the 50mm 1.4
