This plane tours the country giving rides. It is a 1929 Ford Trimotor. Only 199 were made. I have to say it looked a bit like a Morton Building with wings, but the thing got off the ground in about 3 lengths of the plane.

Very nice shots. I love the processing in the first two.

You have some nice shots. My brother and I went up in this plane in St.Augustine, Fl. The flight was $25 and lasted about 15 minutes. It was LOUD, but fun.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Well done shots. Like your PP work. Watched a program about them the
other day. All are nice but I like #3 best. Thats off the ground fast
as you mention. Think Tom mentioned wearing earplugs for types like these.
Always carry a set in my truck just in case. :D

Thanks for the compliments. They were charging $60 for a 20 minute ride. The group is www.flytheford.com and they were at our local airport raising money for the local aviation museum. The site gives a nice history of this particular plane. She was quite loud, but graceful. I believe they said the top speed was about 125mph.

The Model T was owned by the Vice president of the museum, so I stopped back by this afternoon with a CD of pics for the museum and the group with the plane. I thought they maybe could use them for their websites. And if they liked them enough, maybe they will contact me for other work.
