Yes, we do need photos of the people, as the birds see us.

That first shot, worth the loss of burst shooting, can't you shoot bursts?

Oooooooooh, I am so jealous, just so. If I could just get a 400 after reading Moose's book. Bokeh is a reason, I have to find a way to "use" the backgrounds, I am not usually close enough to get the bokeh a longer lens would give. I am sure that is one reason I have gravitated to a "bird in a landscape" type photo, as I call it. I am fortunate for the moss and other southern things. Looking back at last winter, I really needed bokeh, pretty drab compared to now.

I love that "take off" shot, Jeff.

    Hey Jeff,

That first shot is excellet. clap.gif

I know how you feel. When I was shooting my D100 with a bunch of folks who were using he D2H it was like I was using a musket and they had machine guns.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

now us old guys have a agreement --NO PICS-- now YOUNG JEFF still has a sense of humor and takes shots. as soon as Ben and i figure out what is our good side then a posting we will go .the best shot was when the guy with a dog on the leash ran by ben and jeff the guy went in-between them and the dog on the other side of ben .lucky the old boy still has some balance if he hit the dirt i would have not passed on that shot .now that would be the $$$$$$$$$ shot :D

ginger i have shot with Ed Hughs and now Ben it's like this I point and click click and next to you the sound is like CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC i get 2 Ben gets 22 not fair if he sets his camera down for even a moment i just format his card for him but do not tell him he has not found me out yet ,he thinks it 's just the new camera . Ginger altho it is nice to have all the glass and stuff the more you shoot and that camera fells good in your hands the better the shots get ,birds are a pain if you have a 600 then they move to 700 it is the call of the wild eek7.gif
