The ferry boat wake really worked well in this image.

Nice composition with the wake from the ferry mimicking the shoreline. Welcom to Dgrin, I see this is your first post.

Very nice shot. The wake actually places me on the boat.

Fantastic image with a beautiful texture to the water...amazing! thumb.gif I wonder if you could bring back more detail in the clouds above; they seem to be a little blown out.

    Welcome to DGrin! clap.gif

Thanks. I've been on fredmiranda.com for a few years, but I'm
    venturing out a bit now.

My feeling exactly on the clouds, but with my limited Photoshop skill
I haven't yet succeeded at rendering the clouds as they actually
appeared. They were kind of blown in the original.

I probably need some curves manipulation, but I confess to disliking
post processing. Maybe I'll tackle this again someday soon.

    Thanks for all the comments.

Welcome! This is a beautiful image--nice combination of bright and subdued colors, peaceful mood, and plenty of texture and motion from the wake. Well done!
