wow this is a colorful bird and only the second time i have seen one

    Ben, Jeff, all I know is that they don't appear to be Carolina birds. My bird book is Birds of the Carolinas. Either ours look different from your excellent captures, or they are not here.

    Pretty birds and good catch of small birds.

    Well, I have plenty of THAT! My measely little 28 - 200 could never compete with the big glass you boys haul around..... eek7.gif

    Took awhile but I believe it is an Orange Bishop.

    Allen I think you nailed it ,the funny thing was on sunday i was talking to a few bird watchers and he told me about the bird ,color ect.but i have a senoir moment about every other moment so did not get the name .thanks Allen for the time you took to id thumb.gifclap.gifthumb.gif

    i told you in pm that we use stuffed birds now hush and lets go shooting or we will come to hollywood and shot candids of
