Bibble uses all available procs

Thought this might be of interest...

I just was trying out the Bibble 5 beta and wondered how it converts raw to jpg so quickly. It looks like it grabs all available processors... here's a picture http://bit.ly/pa58G of it sucking up 97% of all 8 processors on my system.

    This is as designed. At one point I believe the developer said that it would use up to 16 cores efficiently.

    Thanks, but I see this as a "good thing" thumb.gif. Camtasia can grab all 8 proc's when it renders video, but rarely uses over 30% overall... I wish it used 97% like Bibble does...

    Dan, glad you like Bibble. I was a big Bibble booster on these boards (try saying that five times fast), but got put off when they abandoned v.4 while not having a fully functional 5. I still think there's a lot of cool technology coming out of Bibble, and I love the fact that that they have an open plugin architecture, but I've moved (probably permanently) to LR + CS4.
