Cookie's lost when trying to comment on someone's gallery

Don't know if it is related to the nicenames change issues, but now I can't add logged-in comments to someone else's galleries.
Could it be a cookie issue? I am logged in as either alexf.smugmug.com or alexfeldsteinphotography.smugmug.com. The cookie for the second one is lost every time but the cookie for alexf.smugmug.com is fine.
All of a sudden, now when I go to a community and want to comment on someone else's gallery I'm logged out. I click on Login and get presented with the login dialog, already pre-filled with user name and password (so the cookie seems to work). I go in and I am not logged in at the stranger's gallery! I try again and again and same thing.
Result: If I want to leave a comment I am treated as an un-logged visitor and have to fill the Captcha.
