Of course, the fact that these were shot with the EP-1 peaks my interest more than the images. Just kidding. Interesting building. Would you care to share which lenses, PP and other details that you used?

I think there's a lot of noise in the sky, but this might have been intentional. I like the strong lines in the image.

Did you shoot this in RAW?

This was with the kit lens- 14-42 - @14mm (35mm equiv = 28mm). It was shot raw, and converted to monotone at that stage using Olympus software. Other adjustments were adding an orange filter and adjusting the contrast.

I agree there is some noise in the sky, which one would not expect at ISO 200. I believe that is due to the "gradation" setting, which tries to adjust the dynamic range of the image (and doesn't seem to do a great job). Leaving it off seems to reduce the apparent noise, though it doesn't completely disappear.

I've had the camera ~1.5 weeks, so I am still getting used to it.

Nice image. If you get to shoot it again, I think you want the building more in focus. Right now, the little bit of wall is most in focus, the the building goes down from there. What aperture were you using here?

Unless you were pretty close to the wall (4' or so), you should have had focus out to infinity. Perhaps it's just my eyes....

Yes, I was right at the wall. I agree, the focus could be improved. Next time...
