That's a funny shot. Super b&w conversion. I wish I could see more of her eye peeking out from beyond the rim of that cup, though.

Ditto on the eye. You need to supply her with smaller cups...

Nice one, Travis. Good framing, good tonality. But, as others have noted, I really want to see one eye. :D

What was in the cup. Was it tasty? Sorta cool shot. It's just a little to absent of the context or the subject's eyes for me to understand what's happening.

    Thanks for the comments, folks.

I really didn't think the missing eye was that big of a deal -- power of suggestion, maybe? Does the missing eye really destroy the message in the shot?

I want to like this. I really do. The problem with the lack of an eye is that the cup has become the subject instead of the girl with the cup in her mouth. Cups aren't usually that interesting.

I think w/o the eye its hard to judge the child's mood. Happy, mischevious? I like the concept and certainly if you've been around kids enough, they love to walk around with a styofoam snout, you get the image. I think that the lack of the eye takes what may have been a great picture and makes it much less. (I may be totally wrong....)

I think it's just great! To me it looks like the kid is just goofing around (oof adults in the background thumb.gif); the kid is most probably bored, and doing the old Jimmy Durante "…me and my shnozz…" routine (c'mon guys, I'm from the UK and even I remember doing that when I was a kid†)

Great picture, I wouldn't worry too much about the eye (no eye makes it even more candid thumb.gif)

    I wish I'd taken it…

Thanks, Wil, that's exactly what I was going for here. I'm glad you liked it. thumb.gif
