My Best Capture (of deer in motion)

This is from this AM's morning walk in Topanga Canyon State Park (CA). I was watching the doe and fawn for a bit. I luckily saw mom jump the fence and waited and got this shot. It may be a little OOF, but I'm happy I got it at all.

This is a crop from the original shot with some USM.

regards,

Good capture! What an experience that must have been!

We are blessed in the places we can go to see wildlife.
From the books I am reading that is one of the goals of many wildlife photographers, conservation of these wonderful places, and others not public, etc.

What is great about Topanga is its location and proximity to the City of Los Angeles. Topanga is only 15-20 from Santa Monica and 20 minutes from the San Fernando Valley (which is a part of Los Angeles).

It was a fun walk this morning!

I think it was around 7:40 - if you want to get details send me a private message. (I know all the places to park for free!)

I think that I will follow up on your cloning suggestion. I was in a rush to get out this morning and didn't have time.

    Angelo,

Thanks very much. I am now starting to dream of a higher level camera and some of the big glass I hear about (but I still love my 828).

    regards,

    Gary
