I have been reading a Nature Photography book by Moose Peterson, it is called,
Moose Peterson's Guide To Wildlife Photography. I have looked up his web site.

His book is quite informative, or has been for me, though he is a Nikon man.
His site is geared to Nature Photography, digital, and to Nikon info. Never the less I signed up for his newsletter. I have ordered a book by a Canon man, so...... whatever I can learn, I wil take.

I wanted to share this site. I think it would be a good idea to keep site recommendations in one thread. If there already is one, I apologize for not knowing about it.

For your enjoyment that is the url to this particular site. If we had a thread with all the sites in it, we could put in the title, require it, that the subject would be in the title, such as Wildlife/nature photography.

Wow Andy, thanks. I found a copy of a shot I took recently at Union Station that I wasn't so sure of. I'll have to post it now for feedback.

    A Nature Photography site
    http://naturephotographers.net/

Is anyone knowledgeabe about this internet site.

Looking to add to this thread, I hunted out sites listed in a new library book. Naturally I went to a nature site. Being me.

I get the idea, in a rather fast look, that you can either just look at the information or join the site. Perhaps even sell photos through the site?

It is an idea. I have bookmarked it for further study. The cost for membership is 39.95 a year. Looking is free, how far that takes you, I don't know yet.

This is a project for me.

Anyone else have internet sites, in their interest, to share. Or general interest would be great.

I wonder if he is using a selective focus lens like Lens Babies, or if he is doing most of this with post-processing.

    Either way, very outstanding stuff.

I just stumbled upon this old thread and I am sure glad I did! Andy...Mark Tucker is amazing!!!! His photography is so what I have been looking for...truly inspirational...I have been thinking about portaiture and how to break out of the traditional molds. I had one idea in mind before seeing this thread, but Mark's work has truly got me excited! (Hmmmm....I'm thinking about the 35mm f/1.4) wings.gif

P.S. If anyone else has some great Portrait photography sites they like, I would sure appreciate you posting them here.
