Litterally...

One of my friends brought his Blk Lab pup over to meet my crew, & of course play in the pool.

These are great. I love the look on Belle's face in the first one. :D I had a choclate lab named Belle who hated the water. If I even picked up the hose to was the car, she'd sneak off into the woods and hide behind a tree! Gus looks like a great pal and Rocky sure looks good for an old timer. Thanks for sharing.

This pup LOVES the water! My friend would even try and keep her out long enough to dry off, and she'd stick a paw in the pool, when he'd turn around to tell her no, she'd slip off (accidental of course) into the pool just before the word NO came out rolleyes1.gif

Rocky (Dalmatian) is showing his age and we're blessed every day he's here. Couldn't ask for a better bud thumb.gif

Gus (Treeing Walker Coon Hound). It only took him 6 years to grow out of puppy-hood. Talk about hard-headed!!!
He does actually think he's the pool lifeguard though. When someone's in the pool, he constantly circles the pool, keeping an eye on the swimmers.

    Thanks for looking Jack

Yeah, the dogs had a great time!

As to the standard color shots:
I can, I just don't have the "want to" for much of that anymore rolleyes1.gif

I see "normal" everyday of my life... I like different every once in a while thumb.gif

    Hey Azzaro,

If there was ever a "natural" at diving in, she's it. That's the first time she's ever seen a swimming pool & it was full bore ahead!!!

She minds incredibly well for a 4 month old. But, my friend is going to have trouble with her later when SHE figures out that she's much smarter than her owner rolleyes1.gif

    Thanks for the comment jpc.

I was giving you a bad time about the standard color stuff. Heck you
    started it rolling. :D

On the level though.... if I can find different and capture it of course I am
going for it. Such as Walters recent post or Linda's recent + those shots
or manips shared by so many others trying to nail creative nice works.
Ain't as easy as it looks... yes? I so enjoy trying for it. Manage getting it
once in awhile. Seeing other shooters works is inspiring for which I am
definitely grateful to see. thumb.gif Michael

    Michael,

I posted that original comment to poke fun at myself :D Piling on was encouraged!

IMHO, it's taken a good while for this forum to "loosen-up" a bit about images being out-of-the-box. I think that's a good thing thumb.gif

Take care and thanks for your thoughts.

rolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gif I just love these ---- my dogs would of loved a pool in their younger days. Much better then the kiddie pool I set out each summer.

My Dalmatian hated the water (still does) even when he was a pup. The coon dog is a great swimmer, but he prefers to stay on the steps and wade. He'll stand there on the pool steps all day if he's got a squirrel treed in the Maple tree beside the pool rolleyes1.gif
