    The little fellow in the back is a green heron. The fellow in front looks like a tri colored heron though I have never seen one myself.

    Good shots. Egrets and herons are in the same family so technically the pic of the Great Blue Heron could be called an egret. :D

    The second picture is a Little Blue Heron with a Green Heron in the back.

    Thx for settin it straight Harry, I have never seen either and didn't look it up so I wasn't sure.

    come to think of it, old man harry's been slacking off in the heron department... gbh's, greens, and the of course the night herons... so lynnie, congrats thumb.gif way to go!
