Same here and it has been this way for days. I get the following error everytime I try to load a gallery

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Can't take a look without a link to your site. The link in your signature is not a Smugmug site.

Your issue sounds like it might be a problem with a custom domain configuration. I'd suggest reading this post.

link to my site is http://www.realdealphotography.smugmug.com and I have been here for many years now with never a problem. I have not changed anything and I can see the gallery thumbs but when I try to enter the gallery I get the error posted above.

You have nothing enabled for your homepage. Go to the homepage layout button on the homepage (when logged in) and enable the things you want to see on the homepage.

That helped me see some galleries but my categories are still missing.

Just curious-- any idea how I was able to wipe out my categories and hide my galleries inadvertently?

Your homepage is set to view by gallery, instead of by category. There is normally a control in the upper right of the galleries box on the homepage to switch it between viewing galleries vs. viewing categories. If you don't see it there (I can't see because it only shows when logged in), then some of your customization might be hiding it.

I have no idea how things could have changed. I just see them as they are and offer advice on changing them.

That fixed it. Thank you, John. Silly error on my part, apparently.
