A really nice afternoon, two years ago.
Canon 30D with 70-200mm f/4L non-IS.

    That's beautiful light and a great composition! thumb.gif The wisps of dark clouds look a little "messy" to me.
    Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap but memories are priceless.

    Nice! Love that person in red relaxing and enjoying the view. :Dthumb.gif

    Thanks. There were actually two people in lawn chairs perched
    there chatting and taking in the view.

    I like the photos, especially the first one. Looks like a bunch of shore birds on the beach below.

    Where on the coast was this taken?

    Not too far from Pescadero.

    Wow really? I was just there a couple of weeks ago for lunch at Duarte's and I didn't see a thing like this. But then again it's summer so there was nothing but a big mass of gray clouds lol3.gif

    I love the most recent shot! The closer view really puts the size of the cliffs in context... as do the people on top. Excellent.

    Here is one looking in the opposite direction. You are right that the
    summer fog pattern can totatlly change the look of the cliffs.
    Perhaps I'm mistaken in the location, but the look of the roadway
    sure looks like the area north of Pescadero.
