Awesome shot! Must have been fun to see that when you got it developed.
While I kinda get the need for the guy in the foreground, perhaps a tighter crop without him would make for a stronger image. I don't know, just a thought.

You could, I'll try that. But I also like the chaos of a sort of "discovered scene" - bit more frightening if no standard orientation exists. I just left it alone, no post-anything.
I posted one of Times Sq. that was similar, think I called it "Times Sq.: RUSH!". (Course, you could also call them "BAD SHOTS")
Glad this was only a play... I'm going to vote for the square crop that gets the guy in the right out of the picture. The lighting on the policeman and the way the prisoner is so shadowed works so well. Great image.
I feel it leaves out too much. Though a nice image.
Then this
I slightly high-lighted the face of the guy in the rear, so he's looking more obviously at foreground figure. It was but a bit bump in the face-area though. May not read.
This is a crop;

I can't tell the difference between the two vis-a-vis the man's face. After you pointed it out, and I looked hard enough, I can tell that he is looking at the man in the forground, though.

BTW, I love the guy in the shadows.

I just looked at some of yours, "Seattle" - they're beautiful, the colors, the look... I'm going to go back and see more...
You're always so nice and comment so supportively on so many postings, and you are so talented in your own work..
THIS was, but unfortunately IT isn't.
