Very few folks who do this will come out and openly give you advice. Due to the nature of the subject, it's risky and illegal, so just use common sense.

I saw some photos someone took, which there are alot in flickr.....
i wouldn't do anything like trespass... i most likely would contact someone, to see if it was okay.... sign a wavier..etc...
I feel that if we don't take photos, then the history of that location would be lost. No memories, no meaning, no life...
