Hidden photo indicator

While using some of the tools for 'Many photos' is there a way that the photos that have been marked with "Hide Photo" can standout from the rest? Perhaps some added marking on each thumbnail of the photos that are hidden?

This could be useful if you wanted to do something with just the hidden photos - delete, move to another gallery, not bother adding captions, etc.

I see that someone had already suggested it on smugmug uservoice
and the status is "Planned". Perhaps more votes are needed?ne_nau.gif

How long before planned turns into "Started" :D

One thing you can do is add a keyword to each hidden photo like "hidden
photo". Then you will be able to see every photo that you have hidden in all
galleries when logged in, no one else will. I use "1 hidden" so it will sort to the
    top of my keyword list.

Direct link to your keyword page.

It would be even cooler if the image was hidden automagically based on a special SM keyword that we could applied to the image(s)...pre upload.

I really like that idea! thumb.gif

It would be awesome to be able to keyword files before uploading and have them marked as hidden upon arrival. I don't believe I mentioned anything like that in my original request, so maybe you should head over and add some comments to the FR.

I think a hidden photo overlay or something would be a great idea when logged into your account.

It has been talk about for a while so should have some popularity still.

This works only in the Smugmug view (not in the tools for managing images), but you can now see which images are hidden in the Smugmug view with customization #22 here.
