Another wildlife/landscape hybrid...more than the eagle, the snow and textured branches really do it for me in this shot. Well...I guess the eagle doesn't hurt. :D

No, the Eagle does not hurt at all. Great picture Mahesh. I do like the composition very much. But the snow, way to early to be thinking about that!!

    Mahesh,

    This is a spectacular image.

The composition is very, very strong. The tones & detail couldn't get any better. And the snow adds an unexpected dimension to the image.

Your images somehow just keep getting better and better thumb.gif

I think your going to have a tough time topping this one...

Oh my...this is amazingly beautiful; one of the best eagle shots I have ever seen. It's all here, the feel of the temperature, the elements and the eagle. Was this taken in Alaska?

Just kidding. This ranks up as one of the most compelling eagle shots I've ever seen. bowdown.gif Was this in Homer?

Thanks, Joel! I'd love to see your bears. This image was actually shot in Haines, not Homer. Homer is great in the summer months, I think.

Uh.....not much of a wildlife guy...but wow this is a definite stunner !!

Awesome work, the colors, snow, texture of the feathers and tree...

Framing in part of the tree for me is why this photo stands out.

Not sure it gets any better, as far as eagle shots go..

    Luv it..
